Description
The Alima river forms wide curves in the dense forest. It is formed by the confluence of Dziélé (Djiélé) and Lékéti rivers, close to Lékéti city. Okoyo, Boundji and Oyo cities are close to each other. Motorised pirogues link Lékéti to Oyo, Oyo to Mossaka and Loukoléla, both cities being located on the right side of the Congo river, north of its confluence with Alima river. Lékéti and Oyo have river ports where dry fish trade occurs.
