Rare footage of the Yenisei River still frozen in spring near the Arctic port of Dudinka. The nuclear-powered icebreaker Vaygach cuts a channel through the thick ice, allowing a cargo ship to follow in its wake. Huge sheets of ice are crushed and pushed aside by the vessel. Spectacular images illustrating the extreme navigation and logistical conditions of this isolated region of northern Siberia.
