Description
Hill of Crosses is a pilgrimage site located near the city of Šiauliai, in northern Lithuania. The first crosses were placed in the 14th century. Since then, countless crosses, crucifixes, sculptures of Lithuanian patriots, statues of the Virgin Mary, tin effigies, and rosaries have been brought by Catholic pilgrims.
